Welcome to my Clinical Mental Health Counseling e-portfolio
This e-Portfolio serves as a tool for documenting professional development, counselor identity, and growth throughout my counseling program. It reflects the knowledge and skills I have developed, as well as the areas in which I continue to grow.
About Me
My name is Tiera-Lee Bishaw Marquez, and I am currently pursuing my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Grand Canyon University.
A meaningful part of this journey is being able to serve the Molokai community in which I was born and raised in. Working within a close-knit rural community has provided opportunities to better understand the importance of cultural awareness, relationships, accessibility, and client-centered care. My experiences in the field continue to shape my understanding of what it means to be an effective ethical, compassionate, and culturally responsive counselor.
My mission as an emerging counselor is to cultivate meaningful support, bridge healthcare gaps, and promote mental health wellness for diverse populations.
During my free time, I enjoy going to the beach and hunting with my family.
